An explosion of colour in summer: the delicate browns of the historic medieval defensive walls of Montalto on the horizon, the bright blue of the swimming pool with Jacuzzi in the foreground and the lush green of the vineyards to the left

During the Autumn you can stay with us whilst we harvest the grapes (above Anna Maria and Pio your hosts during the picking of the organic grapes). We offer guided walks with the owner and wine maker Pio Carlini - which also include wine tasting and a tour of the wine museum, followed by a visit to our friendly family store.

During the long hot summers you can spend time peacefully at the famous Riviera delle Palme where you can enjoy lunch on the beach at Grottamare or even savor a fantastic homemade ice cream in San Benedetto del Tronto (pictured above). During the evenings, the greatest pleasure will be the return to the cool, clean fresh air and tranquility of the apartments or holiday homes at the vineyard.

At Mont Alto Marche (image above / 1.5 km) and in many other local small towns celebrate the "chestnut" in October. There is an aroma of chestnuts in the air, which are roasted in huge pans over wood fires and you will also able to enjoy truffle pasta. You can even find the truffles in our vineyards, under the roots of oaks and other trees…

Agriturismo TERRE VINEATE

"Pio and his family welcomed us with the utmost courtesy and excellent service. You can truly experience the art of Italian living - I can definitely recommend the cottage for those looking for the real `Italy`."

Prof. Christian Dirks

The farmhouse `TERRE VINEATE is located just 20 minutes from the golden Adriatic beaches - nestled in the ancient vineyards. Those who love the real and genuine Italy, according to the renowned magazine Merian, can find it here in Le Marche. If you are looking to take a break from normal routines and everyday stress, then you have found the right place, here in Montalto. Relaxing in one of the apartments or holiday homes in the vineyards with a glass of Rosso Piceno Offida or a piece of cheese in your hand, you can leave your troubles behind. On the terraces of the renovated houses you can enjoy a panoramic view across the vineyards towards the sea and out across the Apennines, with a cappuccino and cornetto (Italian croissant) during the mornings.

Anyone who appreciates good wine will certainly enjoy a relaxing holiday amongst the vineyards of Le Marche. You can experience Easter or Whitsun at the TERRE VINEATE with walks in the pale green of the blooming vineyards on your mountain bike (also available for hire). Did you know that the almond trees are in bloom and the flowers of the peach trees are already in full magenta blossom in April in Le Marche?

Many of our guests’ children have already enjoyed the beaches of fine sand or stones with the holiday vineyard company - but those looking for architecture and the real Italian culture will be more than satisfied by the local town of Montalto in Le Marche. The vineyard (already established during the era of Pope Sixtus V where it was documented as "wine land") is a land of ancient culture. Only half hour away,  are the cities of Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, with their medieval and renaissance architecture and theatre performances, with classical and jazz concerts in addition to the modern and traditional diverse markets.
